The post-market high and low alerts are Streaming Alerts (Scanner). Streaming Alerts run in TI Pro, our desktop app for Windows (on a Mac, through Parallels). Top Lists (Screeners) also run in the Web Dashboard, right in your browser. See the earnings scanner, then the gap scanner the next morning.
It finds stocks moving after the 4:00 p.m. ET close: earnings reactions, news, and new after-hours highs and lows.
Many companies report right after the close. The first move happens while most people have stepped away.
The scan sorts that out for you. It ranks the movers and shows the volume behind each one, so a thin move stands apart from a real one.
The after-hours move and the next morning’s gap are linked, but they are not the same thing. More traders show up premarket, and a move can grow or fade overnight.
A common routine: note the after-hours high and low tonight, then check the premarket scanner and Gap (%) in the morning to see what held.
During earnings season, dozens of companies report in the first minutes after 4:00 p.m. ET. The list can change fast.
Sorting by Change Post Market (%) with a volume minimum keeps the busiest reporters on top, so you are not reading through every name on the calendar.

Earnings read. See how the market takes a report before the conference call.

The first move often reverses during the call or by the next open.
Not every broker lets you trade after hours, or for the full session. Check yours.
The chart shows trading outside regular hours on the left of the open, then a New High alert once the regular session is underway. Levels set outside regular hours often matter once the bell rings.
After hours volume is a small slice of the day. A few trades can move price a long way, and spreads are wider. Watch Spread and use limit orders.

It is a set of Trade Ideas alerts and filters that watch trading after the 4:00 p.m. ET close. You see which stocks are moving on earnings and news, and how much volume is behind it.
Sort a Top List (Screener) by Change Post Market (%), the move since the close. Add Post Market Volume so you skip names barely trading.
Change Post Market ($) shows the same move in dollars. After hours, the volume is lighter than the regular session, so a small order can move a stock more than it would at noon. The filter reads 0 before the close and runs until 8:00 p.m. ET.
Yes. The post-market filters work in a Top List in the Web Dashboard. The new-high and new-low alerts are in TI Pro.
Add Earnings Date set to today, and the list sticks to stocks that just reported. That clears out names moving on light, random trades. Earnings reports often land right after 4:00 p.m., so the first few minutes are usually the busiest.
Yes. Post-market Highs and Post-market Lows fire each time a stock makes a new after-hours high or low.
The new-high and new-low alerts fire on each print above or below the earlier after-hours range. They are Streaming Alerts, so you see each one as it prints. TI Pro runs on Windows, and on a Mac through Parallels.
Post-market trading runs to 8:00 p.m. ET, and the post-market volume filter runs until then.
Top Lists run in the Web Dashboard in a browser. Streaming Alerts run in TI Pro on Windows, or on a Mac through Parallels.
After-hours moves happen on light volume. When the full market opens, it can see things differently.
Set Earnings Date to today, then sort by Change Post Market (%). Add a Post Market Volume minimum so the list skips moves on a handful of shares.
Sometimes. Many become the next morning’s gaps, and many fade. Check the premarket list before the open to see which ones held.
