The Precision Technologies Business segment provides mechanical parts such as ball bearings, rod-end bearings, hard disk drive pivot assemblies, and aircraft screws. The Motor Lighting & Sensing Business segment offers electronic devices such as backlights for liquid crystal displays, sensing devices, and measuring instruments. It also provides spindle motors for HDDs, stepping motors, DC motors, fan motors, automotive motors, and special equipment. The Semiconductor & Electronics Business segment provides semiconductor devices, optical devices, mechanical components, power supply components and smart products. The Access Solutions Business segment offers automotive parts such as key sets, door latches, door handles, etc., as well as industrial equipment parts. The Others segment deals with the software design and development and self-manufactured machinery. The company was founded on July 16, 1951 and is headquartered in Kitasaku, Japan.
