Accumulation

Since a trade in the market by definition is a buy and a sell, traders use additional clues to determine whether large market participants are accumulating shares of a stock over time.  When large institutions take long positions in a stock, the price tends to go up in order for large share volumes to be filled.  Traders can use Trade-Ideas to find stocks that are currently being accumulated by using new recent high alerts, higher than average volume, increases in the number of prints, and large block print alerts.
