We’ve got a really nice short opportunity from our AI today with TTMI, and I’m also giving you a little preview of something new we’re working on here at Trade Ideas.

You might notice the chart looks a little different. I’m experimenting with our new chart design, which is currently in alpha mode. This is the direction we’re heading with the look of Trade Ideas going forward, and I wanted to give you a sneak peek while highlighting today’s trade.

Now, let’s talk about TTMI.

Our AI identified a short opportunity right around $81, and while the stock initially popped a little higher after the alert, it didn’t take long for the selling pressure to kick in.

And boy, did it drop!

At the time of recording, TTMI had fallen approximately 8.3% from the original AI alert. That’s a tremendous move on the short side.

So, what was driving all this activity?

Earnings.

TTMI was reacting to earnings news, which created significant volatility throughout the session. The stock had already dropped in the pre-market, but that didn’t stop it from continuing lower once regular trading got underway.

This is something I always tell traders to pay attention to. Just because a stock has already made a big move before the opening bell doesn’t mean that move is finished.

In TTMI’s case, the selling continued, and our AI did a fantastic job identifying an opportunity to participate in that downward momentum.

Now, we’ve seen a little bounce off the lows, but I’m watching to see whether the stock starts moving lower again. There’s certainly no guarantee, but it’s worth keeping an eye on as the session progresses.

The big takeaway here is that earnings-driven volatility can create opportunities in both directions. While many traders focus on finding stocks moving higher, sometimes the best opportunities are on the short side.

TTMI is a great example of that today.

And with our new charts coming along, I’m looking forward to showing you more of what we’re working on here at Trade Ideas.

Another great short alert from our AI!
