My Daily Trend Reversals were absolutely on fire today, and one of the first names to stand out was DLLL.
Now, DLLL is a company ETF tied to Dell Technologies, and this is exactly why I like these products. If you want exposure to Dell but don’t necessarily want to trade the underlying stock at a much higher price, the company ETF can provide an alternative.
And today, DLLL delivered.
The stock was trading around $33.60 when the opportunity showed up. From there, it moved to approximately $36.99 before seeing much of a pullback. That is a tremendous move in a relatively short period of time.
But here’s what really caught my attention: the ETF was essentially giving you double the move.
At the time I was looking at it, Dell was up around 11%, while DLLL was up approximately 22%. That’s the appeal of these leveraged company ETFs — when you have a strong conviction in the direction of the underlying stock, you can potentially capture an amplified move.
And Dell was certainly moving today.
This is also a great example of why I keep an eye on these company ETFs. Dell itself was trading around $562, which is a pretty significant price for a stock. DLLL gives traders a way to participate in the move at a much lower share price while providing leveraged exposure.
Of course, leverage works both ways, so these products come with additional risk and require proper trade management. But when the setup is there and the trend is working in your favor, the results can be impressive.
For me, that’s what made DLLL such a great trade today: the Daily Trend Reversal identified the opportunity, the move came quickly, and the company ETF delivered an amplified version of Dell’s move.
That’s exactly what makes this trade great.
