ACXP and the Power of the AI Re-Entry TradeBy Barrie Einarson

One of the trades that really stood out today came from our Trade Ideas AI, and it’s a perfect example of why I often prefer to wait for the re-entry setup instead of jumping in immediately on the initial alert. To Subscribe: https://go.trade-ideas.com/SHQ

Let’s break down what happened with ACXP.

The AI alert first triggered at $2.32 around 2:32 PM. Now sometimes these alerts take off right away and never look back. That does happen. But one of the strategies I’ve developed over time is to wait and see if the stock gives us a re-entry opportunity.

In this case, the AI also provided a stop level at $2.25.

Here’s how the re-entry works.

If the stock hits the stop — which ACXP actually did — the system then watches for the stock to reclaim the midpoint between the entry and the stop.

So with:

  • Entry: $2.32
  • Stop: $2.25

The midpoint comes in at $2.28.

Once the stock pierced the stop and then moved back above $2.28, that triggered the re-entry alert.

And look what happened next.

From $2.28, ACXP ran all the way up to $2.99 — basically $3.00 before pulling back at all.

That’s a very strong move, and it highlights something we see quite often: a shakeout below the stop that clears out weak hands before the real move begins.

This is why the AI re-entry strategy can be so powerful. Instead of chasing the first alert, sometimes patience gives you a cleaner entry with strong momentum behind it.

I’m going to keep watching ACXP to see if it holds the VWAP and possibly makes another push into the close. If buyers continue to defend that level, there may still be more opportunity here before the day is done.

Trades like this really show the value of combining AI alerts with a disciplined trading strategy.
