RXRX: Why Re-Entries Matter More Than Perfect Entries
RXRX: Why Re-Entries Matter More Than Perfect Entries

Hey everyone,
Barrie Einarson here from Trade Ideas with today’s edition of What Makes This Trade Great.
I want to walk through RXRX, because this is one of those trades that really highlights the importance of process over perfection. To Subscribe to Trade Ideas:

The First Alert Didn’t Work — and That’s OK
Our Trade Ideas AI flagged RXRX at $4.83. The setup was there, but the trade hit its stop. That happens. No frustration, no emotion — just execution.
Too many traders think a stopped-out trade means the idea is dead. That’s simply not true.
The Power of the Re-Entry
One of the things I talk about a lot is re-entry. If you miss the first move, or even if you take it and get stopped out, the trade can still be valid.
In this case, the re-entry level came in around $4.75, which is halfway between the original alert and the stop. That gave traders another opportunity to participate without chasing.
RXRX pushed higher and tested $5. I took the trade myself but didn’t press it aggressively at that level. With the market being as choppy as it was today, protecting capital was the priority.
The Level That Matters
Here’s the key:
If RXRX can cleanly take out $5, there’s plenty of room for it to continue higher. That’s the level I’ll be watching later in the session.
Market Conditions Matter
Let’s not ignore the bigger picture — this was a tough market day. Lots of chop, not a lot of follow-through. Days like this reward patience and discipline, not overtrading.
Final Thoughts
RXRX is a great reminder that:
- Getting stopped out is part of trading
- Re-entries can be just as powerful as first entries
- The market decides — we just manage risk
Stick to the plan, trust the AI, and let the trades come to you.
