We’ve had a pretty rocky day out there in the overall market. Take a look at the SPY — at one point it was way up around $679, and then we had about an hour and a half of straight selling. It was just selling, selling, selling. After that, we started to chop around a bit, and now the market’s beginning to pop again.

So, why am I showing you this? Because it sets the stage for a really great example — $COGT.

We had an alert to go long around $34.05 earlier in the session. The setup looked strong, but with the market rolling over, it got stopped out. No problem — that happens. What’s important is how we handled it.

Once the market started to turn back up, we got a reentry alert halfway between that stop and the original entry — right around $33.54. That’s where things started to line up again. With the SPY bouncing and momentum coming back, $COGT started to push higher, turning that earlier stop-out into a great recovery play.

This is a textbook reminder that reentries matter. The first try doesn’t always stick, but when the market gives you another signal — and you’ve got the right structure and volume behind it — that’s your chance to step back in and catch the real move.
