The market was a bit choppy today, but one name really stood out — TERN. This one had some big pre-market news about its leukemia treatment, and the market loved it. The company called the data “impressive,” and traders clearly agreed. You could see the stock ramping up in the pre-market, strong volume, solid price action — just one of those setups that grabs your attention early.

Now, our AI doesn’t start issuing alerts until 9:40 AM, and that’s by design. The first few minutes after the open can be wild — lots of fakeouts, sudden reversals, and noise. By holding off, we let things settle and focus on the cleaner setups once the market finds its footing.

Right around 9:40, the AI kicked in and gave an alert on TERN at $14.06. Perfect timing. The stock pushed up to about $14.50, pulled back to the alert price, and then gave traders another beautiful entry before making a run to almost $16.

I really liked how this one behaved — steady momentum, nice pullback, and a controlled move higher. That’s the kind of action I look for. It wasn’t a chaotic breakout; it had structure, and that’s what makes it tradable.
