The morning was slow—very little movement from the high flyers we were watching. For hours, nothing set up cleanly. In times like this, the biggest risk is trying to force trades out of boredom. That’s how accounts get chopped up.

Finally, ISPC gave us something. After waiting and waiting, it broke over a whole number and made a quick move from $2.00 up to $2.43 before pulling back. That was the one solid breakout on a day when the rest of the market just sat still.

If I weren’t moderating the room, I’d probably have packed it in early and waited for the afternoon. Sometimes, the smart trade is stepping aside until conditions improve.

ISPC was a reminder: discipline pays. Waiting for the right setup, instead of chasing noise, is what makes trades like this one stand out.
