What Makes This Trade Great: SNGX & ALMS – The Power of Re-Entry

Aug 18, 2025

Hello everyone, Barrie Einarson from Trade Ideas here. Today’s theme is one I’ve talked about many times before, and it showed up again in two great examples: SNGX and ALMS. Let’s break it down. To Subscribe: https://go.trade-ideas.com/SHQ

SNGX – From Stop Out to Breakout

Our AI gave an early alert on SNGX at $4.10. Traders who respected their stop would have been out at $3.98—that’s just good discipline. But here’s the key: the midpoint between entry and stop, around $4.04, gave traders a chance to re-enter.

That second entry ran all the way to $6.24. This is a perfect case of how the first attempt doesn’t always pay, but the re-entry can deliver big results.

ALMS – A Short with Follow-Through

Another setup came from ALMS on the short side. The AI flagged a short at $5.02, which stopped out initially. But just like with SNGX, the second chance was there—this time at $5.07. From that re-entry, the stock fell into the $4.60s, giving a strong short trade.

Lesson of the Day

The market doesn’t always give it to you on the first swing. Stops are there to protect us, but the idea isn’t always invalid after a stop out. If you stay patient and watch those midpoint zones, re-entries can open the door to some of the best moves of the day.

Remember: the AI finds the opportunities, but it’s your job to manage risk, stops, and re-entries with discipline.
