Let’s hammer this point home. This trade was triggered by an AI alert at $61.72, right at the start of the trading day on this 15-minute opening candle. The actual alert came through at 9:42 AM Eastern.

Now, take a look at what happened next. VKTX had an impressive run, climbing all the way up to $65.20. That’s a substantial gain from the alert price. But here’s the key takeaway: many of you might look at the AI alert and think, “I missed it; it’s over, I can’t trade this one.” However, the reality is often different.

In this case, VKTX pulled back to the original alert price, providing another entry opportunity. Before it even pulled back, it spiked above $65.18, hitting a high of $66.78. As it started pulling back, this would have been an ideal moment to take some profits and hold onto a portion of the trade.

What’s remarkable is that VKTX then soared to $69.76 from the original $61.72 alert. This example underscores the importance of using the AI alerts as a watchlist. Even if you think you’ve missed the initial move, these stocks can often present even better setups on subsequent pullbacks or bounces.
