The Unveiling of the Wonder Scan: Trading Insights with Barrie Einarson
Dec 13, 2023
Hello folks, Barrie Einarson here from Trade Ideas, back with yet another insightful look into ‘What Makes This Trade Great’! Today we’re diving headfirst into a thrilling ride that just took place in the stock market. I’m talking about my new best friend here, the Quadruple C–or as I love to bring it to attention, the C-four.
Yesterday, the aftermath of the C-four’s performance was mind-boggling and this morning, it surpassed not only yesterday’s high but also the 200-day average in the pre-market, even before the average joes were awake.
The Wonder Scan
I have a helpful companion by my side which I proudly refer to as my ‘Scan’. Given how incredible it has been, it’s forgivable if you mistake it for the eighth wonder of the world (thus, the Wonder Scan). Here’s a quick breakdown: We got the alert at 931, at 359. Now, hold on, does that sound a bit too early? I get it! I also tend not to hop onto trades so early in the day.
But, it’s still important to take a look at what showed up. We got STTK 481 which later escalated to about 540 before finally pulling back. And then, there’s PLAB that evolved from 25 75 to approximately 26 20. Acadia shot from 25 to a whopping 28 and some change. This one didn’t do as much as the preceding ones but still managed to rise significantly. ABM and X also pushed up by about 20 or $0.30.
“They’re not all going to be rocket chips.”
We did have three solid winners though – the C-Four, PLAB, and especially Acadia.
Taking Advantage
I took the plunge and jumped aboard the C-four. It wasn’t hard to simply not resist the call after watching the first 15-minute run-up. Where was my entry you may ask? The aim was that juicy 411 area.
This area, ladies and gentlemen, was the high of those 2, 15 minute candles. Talk about playing the waiting game! It seemed to stretch on forever when you’re intraday trading but once it did break, it soared up to 455 before pulling back slightly.
My fellow traders might remember that resistance up at one point and yes, as you guessed it, it crashed right through that. There was a daily high but it simply couldn’t stop the steam train.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to jump back in and honestly, I have no clue about its future route, but for now, that’s just the nature of the beast.
