I’m excited to announce that I’m now a contributing member of Trade Ideas, LLC technology. Back in 2003 I was one of the first traders to help TI beta test and design alerts for the active trader using market event-driven technology. I’ve been using it ever since.

Right now, I feel they (I mean we) are on to the next big thing in discovering investing and trading ideas; the birth of Artificial Intelligence.

I have been absolutely blown away by this next evolutional step in Trade-Ideas’ technology and to my knowledge, there is nobody else out there doing it the way it’s being done here. Think of the movie “Moneyball”. Think about why casinos do not allow card counting. It’s all about putting the odds in your favor to get the best results over time.

If human beings could pour over hundreds of thousands of trades from 8,000 different symbols each night, there would be no need for this technology. But we can’t. So we look to intelligent learning software to show us where the alpha lies. In a flat market like 2015, hunting and finding alpha is the key!
