• Trader-X gives his readers 2 nuggets. The first is how to calibrate Trade-Ideas Pro to find stocks that gap from the open. The second is a description of how he uses the results into his trading plan.

• A huge list of compiled and categorized tools/resources to use on your blog.

• Dr. Brett Steenbarger reviews a list of good day trading resources for traders. Trade-Ideas gets a nice mention for its use of the blog.

• Interactive Brokers’ Trader Workstation built-in scanner and Trade-Ideas Pro go toe-to-toe in a blinding flash of samurai swords. Only one warrior emerges (I just finished watching Kill Bill Vol. 2 on the Tivo).

• This introducing broker gets it. They now offer Trade-Ideas Pro free to their clients – mainly hedge funds. Ask your broker to pay for your Trade-Ideas subscription; the answer’s always no if you never ask…

• Get a list of stocks breaking out of their opening ranges across several timeframes (i.e., 60, 30, etc.) and see how we use them in our trading plan.
