Configuration Window Overview

In this next lesson, I will briefly go over Configuration window and its main functions. To open the configuration window, just right click over a window and it will be the first option you see. The configuration window allows you to control the data that populates inside of any window. The main configuration window contains several Tabs for configuring the different parameters in the current Alert Window. These are: First, is the Strategies tab where you can choose from our preconfigured strategies or where you can create your own from scratch. Next is the Search tab. This tab allows you to type in your search which will filter through our entire list of alerts and filters. Following Search is the Select Alerts tab where you can choose the type of alert or alerts you would like to use for your strategy. Further on, we have the Windows Specific Filter tab. Here you can choose which filter or filters that you would like to use along with your selected alerts. The Exchanges tab lets you select the stock exchanges that will be monitored by the current Alert Window. Next is the Symbol List tab which allows you to watch certain symbols of your choosing. You can watch one stock or multiple stocks depending on your preferences. The Columns tab lets you change the list of columns that are displayed in the window for every received alert. And lastly is the Window Name tab which allows you to set a window name for the current Alert Window you are configuring. There are videos that explain the function of each tab. For more information, please review them at your leisure.
