Let’s take a look at an Alert window. You will notice that each Alert Window will display an “A†on the top of the window. Each Alert Window contains a strategy that generates the alert when the event occurs. This is an important window in the Trade Ideas system. As you can see, data is populating throughout the alert window. If you right click over the Alert window, you will see a menu with multiple options. This right click menu allows you to modify the settings of the Alert Window. As you can see, there are many features are accessible in the right-click context menusâ€. Let’s quickly go over each one. One of the main features in creating or refining your strategy is choosing the “Configure†option. By choosing Configure, you will be taken to a different window called the Config Window. This will allow you to completely change or modify your current Alert Window. From the Config window, you can choose to use any of our Preconfigured Strategies or you can create your own strategies from scratch. (quickly show how) You can choose to collaborate your strategy with others, specify the history, adjust sounds, link symbols, duplicate the window, share symbols and alerts to social networks, clear the data inside of the alert window, select colors, view and sort the order of the alerts, resize columns, display different window borders, choose the speed of the alerts, and saving the alert window to your computer or to our Cloud feature. You can even choose to backtest the strategy inside of the alert window by Running the Oddsmaker.
