There’s a new addition to the Send To feature in Trade Ideas Pro. Previously, we’ve shown you how to use the send to command to share symbols and alerts to social networks or link with external programs. Now by selecting a symbol, you can use Send to Web to open a Trade Ideas browser displaying a lookup of the symbol you selected on the Web. So far we have included BigCharts, Yahoo, Scottrade eTrade, TD Ameritrade. Here is the symbol I just looked up, GLU Mobile on BigCharts. And I can select another symbol, like Microsoft, and do research on that symbol. Or maybe I want to take a look at it in Yahoo finance. In addition to the sites in the selection menu, you can select Custom and add your own. In the previous Send To feature video, we showed you how to make a send to command a default click, or double click behavior under Options and Integration support. We can also make Send To Web a double click option. Now when I double click on an alert, I get an instant internet lookup on the symbol I am interested in.
