Here's a quick tip for correctly saving strategies and alerts on Scottrade Elite for the Trade Ideas Windows. Let's say I receive this strategy by email or instant message or found it online. I will copy it and in a Trade Ideas window, I right click and choose "Collaborate." I will paste that link into my collaboration window. Now, the new alert is loaded in my window. To save this alert, I will click on Alert Lists, and select "Create/Modify Alert Lists." I will create a new alert, and name it. Before I select "OK", to make sure this alert will come up next time it's loaded, I'll click on it and I will find that alert in my "Recent Settings." I will load the settings for that alert and select "OK." Now, I can save the alert and find it again within my alerts.
