Let's take a look at one of the newest features in TI Pro. Currently this is only available in the beta version. Before I forget, can you read this? I'm recording this full screen, and in high def. You should set your playback to full screen and high def, too. This new window is called the multi strategy window. It lets you display different types of alerts at the same time. Let's look at a normal alert window. This high low ticker has different alerts in it. But it's limited because you have to use the same filters for all alerts. Let's try something different. Let's say I want stuff that's on highs now, and was also up the previous two days. We'll call this a simple type of momentum trading. If the stock was doing well for three days in a row, I might want to buy it. Now what if I want the same thing in the down direction? Let me flip that. Now, it's showing me things that are down three days in a row. That's the two previous days and today. That's exactly what I wanted to see. The only problem is that we now have two different windows. Most stock traders want to save some space on their monitor. As you can see, the multi strategy window lets you put two or more traditional alert windows into a single window. Of course, you can set the columns, the colors, the window name, etc. Just a reminder, I'm showing you the bleeding edge of this trading software. The GUI will definitely change in the near future. However, the functionality is all there, so you can use it today.
We've reorganized our download page some. You now have three choices. We're pushing version 3.0. This big button will let you download that. I've already got this version running, so let me show you. It's got a lot of nice features, including the top list. We also allow you to run an older version of the software. Again, I've already got this running. We made a lot of changes in 3.0, and you might need some time to adjust. We did the colors a different way in the old version. And 3.0 doesn't have all of the features from the old version. For example, 3.0 doesn't have the ability to get around some firewalls. We'll get to this eventually. But since most people don't need this feature, it's not at the top of our priority list. If your firewall is giving you trouble, please ask your system administrator to fix the the firewall. Finally, there's a third choice. We've had so many requests to see the betas, we've decided to make them more accessible. This is software has all the latest features, even if some of them aren't quite done.
