Trade Ideas with Dan Mirkin (08/17/10)

In this episode, Dan Mirkin explains how the media can overwhelm traders with extreme cases. He discusses his DELL chart. He looks at the candles and shows where it broke through the support area. That position doesn't have a lot of volatility. He uses some of his pivot points as filters and shows it on his configuration screen. Remember to use negative and/or positive numbers when entering your criteria in the config window. Dan goes over the section on the Support page of Trade-Ideas that shows what the negative or positive values mean when you type them in: http://www.trade-ideas.com/MinMaxNegative/ All of the screens that Dan has represent different types of stocks such as the double double. Dan explains how unusual trends can make money and how everyone's trading style is different. You have to find your own style. Dan places a limit or "taster" order of $25 to see if there is any pullback. "Don't rush it. It will come to you." Find the right ranges and trade them. If you are up you are doing well. If not then get out.
