The duplicate window option is very useful. It creates another window that is identical to the current window. Sometimes it's better to start from the current window rather than from scratch. This allows me to make two similar windows. Put all my listed stocks in this window. Put all my NASDAQ stocks in this window. Select clear to get rid of the old alerts from before I configured it. You can move and stretch these just like any other windows. You can save a window so you can load it later. You can save a window as the default. Now anytime I need to create a new window with the button, it remembers that default. The standard font window allows you to make things more readable or just make things look different so you can tell one window from another very quickly. Collaborate is a quick way to copy the entire settings from a window into another window. You can just copy this text with Control C just like you would from any normal program. Then go into any other window, hit Control V to paste the new value in. Sure enough, you now have the same data going through both windows. This is called collaborate because it allows people to work together. While I can copy one window to the next on my screen, it's most useful with e-mail or with instant messenger. I can send these links from one person to another. That way, I can set up the perfect window and then send the copy to you. That's how we do most of our Tech Support. One important thing to notice: these settings are not limited to Trade-Ideas Pro. They also work in normal Trade-Ideas. Go right up to the address bar, hit Control V to paste in the value. Sure enough, the same data. That way, users who are using both products can share between the two of them. Simply drag a row or a column to rearrange it.
