This video illustrates how to correctly link Trade-Ideas Pro to Think or Swim, so that when you click on a symbol in a Trade-Ideas alert window, it will update windows within Think or Swim. First, navigate to the PROPHET TAB. To link Trade-Ideas to Think or Swim, click on a symbol in the alert window or from the application toolbar, click on tools and select External Linking. This will launch the Set Up External Linking window. From this window, drag the cross-hairs to the chart on the prophet tab. You have now linked Think or Swim with Trade-Ideas. Anytime you click on a symbol in Trade-Ideas, your Think or Swim Prophet window will update accordingly. If you navigate away from this tab, simply click back to the Prophet tab to resume linking.
