This lesson shows how to use Trade-Ideas software with RediPlus software. To find an alert in Trade-Ideas, click on a symbol. The symbol is automatically loaded into one or more Redi windows. To do this you need to do some easy set up tasks. Start with the Trade-Ideas home page shown here. Go to advanced features. Make sure you are logged in. If you are not logged in, log in right now. Select link destination. Scroll down to generic option #1. Make sure you selected the radio button shown here. You can also select a type of window and whether you want to see a new window every time or whether you want to update the current window as shown in this lesson. Optionally, you can link the Redi windows to each other. In this example, Trade-Ideas was linked to the Montage Window. The Montage window was linked to the chart window. Let's show how that is done. To link the montage to another window, select the menu and then the properties dialogue box. First select link. Drag the link tools to any other windows that you want to link. In this example, Montage was linked to the chart. Second, you want to save these settings so you won't have to do this every day. Go to "layout," select the Montage. Say "save as default." Now, each time you start and you create a new montage with Trade-Ideas, it will automatically be linked to your chart. One more detail: You will sometimes see an additional window. This is just a status window. It automatically hides behind the other windows. If you see it, don't worry about it. You can now safely ignore it.
