This video illustrates how to correctly link Trade-Ideas Pro to RealTick so that when you click on a symbol in a Trade-Ideas alert window, it will update windows within RealTick. These include the MarketMaker and Chart windows. First, open up a MarketMaker window by selecting Design, MarketMakers window. Enter a symbol. Now open up a Chart window; go to Design, Chart. Enter a symbol. We will now use Realtick's Internal linking to link the Level II window with the Chart. Right click on the Level I portion of the MarketMakers window and select Links. Select the MarketMakers window and the chart you wish to link. Once highlighted press OK. To link Trade-Ideas to RealTick, click on a symbol in the alert window. This will launch the Set Up External Linking window. Drag the cross-hairs to the symbol field of the MarketMakers window. You have now linked RealTick with Trade-Ideas. Anytime you click on a symbol in Trade-Ideas, your RealTick windows will update accordingly. This concludes this video segment on linking Trade-Ideas to RealTick.
