This video illustrates how to correctly link Trade-Ideas Pro to NinjaTrader so that when you click on a symbol in a Trade-Ideas alert window, it will update windows within NinjaTrader. First, open up a Basic Entry window, a Level II window and a Chart window. We will now use NinjaTrader's Internal color coded linking to link these three windows. Click on the L at the top of each window and select a consistent color. Enter a symbol in the Basic Entry window to ensure the internal linking was successful. Open a Trade-Ideas alert window. To link Trade-Ideas to NinjaTrader, click on a symbol in the alert window. This will launch the Set Up External Linking window. Drag the cross-hairs to the instrument field of the Basic Entry window. You have now linked NinjaTrader with Trade-Ideas. Anytime you click on a symbol in Trade-Ideas, your NinjaTrader windows will update accordingly.
