This lesson shows how to use Trade-Ideas with various trading applications. We are using Cyber Trader Pro in this example, but this option works with a variety of applications. When you see an interesting alert in Trade-Ideas, just click on the symbol. The first time you do this, this will bring up our configuration window. Drag the cross hairs into a window to link to that window. Optionally, you can link to more than one window at a time. Our connection software also offers you more choices, like the ability to remove one of these windows. After you have configured this, either minimize or close the window. The next time you click on a symbol, it will immediately appear in all the selected windows. Again, each time you see an interesting alert, click on the symbol. Look at the chart, the Level 1 and Level 2 information, buy or sell. Then move on to the next. You will notice that the configuration window has remained minimized this entire time. It will automatically reappear when it detects a problem. Or, you can use the task manager to bring this window back and make changes at any time. Before you use this feature, you need to do a one-time set up. Start with our home page shown here. Go to advanced features. Make sure you are logged in. If you are not logged in, log in now. Select link destination. Now go down to generic option #2. Click here. You notice that several of the programs listed here say to use generic option #2. These are the products we have already tested with generic option #2. However, others may work and you should try it with your software. At this point, you can just click on assemble and go.
