This lesson shows how to link the Trade-Ideas software with OmniPro. Once this linking is done, you can click on a symbol in Trade-Ideas and it will automatically appear in OmniPro. This allows you to get a new idea from Trade-Ideas. Then use the graph to evaluate it and use the execution panel to act on it. First, you need to do a one-time set up. Go to our home page. Go to advanced features. Make sure you are logged in. Click on select link destination. Click on this radio button. Accept changes. Now you have to configure OmniPro to accept symbols. Bring up the tool bar. Go to settings. Go to "system." Make sure this check box is turned on. After you do this you will have to save this layout in OmniPro to save this setting. One more thing to notice. When you are using this connection, you will sometimes see another web page. This web page is used to connect the two pieces of software and you can safely ignore it.
